Players are grouped into three Divisions based on their age on May 1, 2019. Each Division contains four teams and each team contains a mix of new and experienced players. BRHL holds an informal "skater evaluation weekend" in April to score each player's skating and hockey skills and we use these scores to create balanced teams. Teams are built "from scratch" each year and we politely defer requests to place kids with specific friends, teams or coaches. Division 1 (D1): 7 – 10 years old ◦ Practice 1 hour two times per week ◦Saturday AM games with occasional weekday games in lieu of practice ◦ 12 Regular Season Games + 2 Playoff Games

Division 2 (D2): 11 – 13 years old ◦ Practice 1 hour two days a week ◦Saturday mid-day games, with occasional Sunday and weekday games ◦15 Regular Season Games + 2 Playoff Games
